Want an effective way to lose weight?

Semaglutide may be your answer!

What is the truth behind Semaglutide or Ozempic? Are they miracle weight loss drugs?

Yes, they are. I personally have lost 68 pounds and Devin, one of our Nurse Injectors lost 60 pounds. We have over 70 patients on our protocol right now. We are seeing great results.

Semiglutide Before After Image

Semaglutide was originally FDA approved in 2020 for type 2 Diabetes under the brand name Ozempic.  Patients were losing weight without even trying.  In June 2021 the FDA approved Semaglutide for weight loss under the name Wegovy.  You might also see Semaglutide brand named Rybelsus as an oral medication for diabetes.  Semaglutide is the generic name for all three medications.  It is the first FDA-approved drug for chronic weight management in adults with general obesity since 2014. Semaglutide is used to treat obesity as a chronic disease rather than perpetuating the misconception that obesity is a problem that can be overcome with willpower.

We want our patients to have the best results possible with their weight loss and so our program is very hands-on approach.  We have the patients come in weekly to weigh-in, discuss how their week went with their weight loss results and side effects and then we adjust the dose for a completely customized experience for each individual patient.  We also have some patients that travel or live farther away and we can have a tele-med or virtual appointment or even text and ship to their home.

Semaglutide works by affecting the craving center in the brain.  This stops the cravings for sugary, processed foods helping patients make better food choices.  Delays how quickly our stomachs digest food. Leading to a fullness and satisfaction with smaller meal sizes. Slow digestion also leaves you feeling full longer.  It causes the sugars and carbs to be excreted through the waste system forcing the body to use the fat storage, just like when on a keto diet.  Your body produces insulin and reduces production of sugar in the liver which reduces blood sugar. The greatest weight loss benefits were observed when Semaglutide is used in combination with lifestyle changes, such as improved diet and consistent exercise.

Savannah Steven Before After

SAVANNAH & STEVEN LOST 34LBS AND 43LBS RESPECTIVELY ON THE FITLIFE MED SPA SEMIGLUTIDE MEDICAL WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM.

We have had many patients eliminate their need for many medications including high blood pressure, other diabetic medications, high cholesterol and more.  They have found Semaglutide to be heart protective and can be used long term.

What about the awful side effects seen on social media?  The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, and constipation.  In our experience, only a handful of patients have had these side effects.  I am lucky enough to have had all three.  So, I can help you work through any you may experience.  We have only had one patient stop due to side effects.

The other crazy complaint on social media is “Ozempic face”. Where they refer to gaunt or sagging skin after weight loss on Semaglutide. As with any weight loss, there will be changes to the face that may cause laxity and sagging. We have solutions to help you if you experience skin laxity on the face or body. One of our new lasers is the Morpheus8 by Inmode. It is Radiofrequency or RF microneedling. It is used to tighten the skin, remodel the skin, reduce surface fat, reduce cellulite and help smooth texture. We also have Peptides, Exosomes, PDO Threads and fillers. So we have you covered!
