Understanding the IPL procedure

Once your skin care issue has been evaluated, we will deliver intense pulsed light (IPL) to the treatment area, using the level of energy and settings that we determine to be best for you. Your skin tissues absorb the light energy and that stimulates the production of new collagen. The result is that your aging or damaged skin begins to soften, which allows your wrinkles, uneven texture or other specific problems to self-correct as well.

You will notice a difference after one treatment, however, some patients complete up to six treatments spaced approximately two weeks apart. There is no downtime between sessions, and you can resume regular activities right away.
